Tavex Corporation is a company dedicated to textile production with leading position within the differentiated Denim segment, reaching a market share of 15% in Europe and 4% worldwide, being consolidated as the largest producer of differentiated denim. In parallel, it complete its product mix with the production of fabric for the production of professional clothing fabric, representing 45% of the total workwear market in Latin America. Additionally, the group started, in 2007, a new full package business line, with a complete management and logistics proposal, focused on big brands.  

Present in over 50 countries, it has 11 factories with own production in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Spain, Morocco and Mexico with an annual production capacity exceeding 180 million meters.  

During the year 2008, the global business figure stood at around 352.1 €MM and the recurring EBITDA increased 20.6% compared with 2007, reaching 31 €MM. Sales of Tavex remained virtually stable despite the slowdown in the world consumption over the past year, with an annual production equivalent to the previous year. The maintenance of the revenue was mainly based on higher volumes and prices obtained in Brazil, with products of higher added value. 

Tavex Corporation started the year 2007 with a market share between 3% and 3.5% in the Denim segment. A very fractured market where 40 major producers account for 30% of consumption. In the medium term, the company plans to increase its annual production to maximize their production platforms and business networks in four major areas of consumption, thus leading the process of consolidation in the market worldwide.
